Now it's time to dream: Edmonton gets another win

The Edmonton Oilers are just one win away from returning to the NHL Stanley Cup Finals.

In the second home game against the Dallas Stars, German superstar Leon Draisaitl laid the foundation for the second home victory with the 1-0 goal. In the 4-1 win against the Stars, he scored his seventh playoff goal of the season in the first period.

The task will be "really tough. They'll be desperate. We have to hold our own," Draisaitl said on US television immediately after the victory in the upcoming clash in Game 5 of the series. Corey Perry scored to restore Edmonton's lead after the Stars had equalized. The hosts then scored their final two goals in the final period, when Dallas had taken their goalie off the ice and played with six skaters.

In Texas, the Oilers can now make their way into the National Hockey League finals on Friday night (CEST).

Will there be a rematch of the final?

Last season, the Oilers lost the finals series to the Florida Panthers in the final game. The Panthers are also close to reaching the Finals again. The defending champions lead the series against the Carolina Hurricanes 3-1.
