The Edmonton Oilers kicked off their quarterfinal series against the Vegas Golden Knights with a celebrated victory. Leon Draisaitl delivered the show in the gambling metropolis.

Leon Draisaitl has the Edmonton Oilers with a goal and an assist in the opening win in the second round of the NHL playoffs against the Vegas Golden Knights guided.
In the 4-2 win in Las Vegas, the German ice hockey superstar equalized the score to 2-2 early in the final period, hitting a highly deflected puck with a backhand shot from behind the baseline.
Draisaitl had already assisted on the goal to make it 1-2. He already has four goals and eight assists in the Stanley Cup playoffs. The second game of the series against the Golden Knights is also in Las Vegas, after which the best-of-seven series continues with two games in Edmonton. A team needs four wins to advance to the NHL semifinals.

In the Eastern Conference, the Carolina Hurricanes in extra time a 2-1 win against Washington Capitals and took the lead in this series after the first game.
