Italy's women's ice hockey team: Three-team tournament in Bolzano

A three-team tournament featuring the Italian women's national team is taking place this weekend at the Sparkasse Arena in Bolzano. Norway and Austria are also participating.

Italy's women's ice hockey team got a new head coach a few days ago. Eric Bouchard has been preparing the Azzurre for the three-team tournament, but is not currently there. The Canadian has returned to his home country, where he is preparing for the training camp (starting November 25).

Italy's women's team will be coached in Bolzano by Stefano Daprà, Alex Treamblay, and Francis Parè. The Azzurre kick off their tournament on Friday evening against Norway. Puck drop at the Eiswelle arena is at 8 p.m. The Azzurre will also play Austria on Sunday at 1 p.m. Norway and Austria will face off on Saturday at 3:10 p.m.
