The 25th Winter Olympic Games will begin in Milan and Cortina in half a year. One of the highlights will be the men's ice hockey tournament. Numerous NHL superstars will take to the ice at the Milan Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena or the Milan Rho Ice Hockey Arena. The women's tournament, being held for the eighth time, also promises to be a real treat.

The Azzurre automatically qualified as hosts and are set to receive Olympic honors for the second time since 2006, when the Games were held in Turin. To prepare for the season's highlight, an intense winter awaits coach Stephanie Poirier's players.
