The season is over for Reischach ice hockey goalie Damian Clara. The South Tyrolean missed the playoffs in the Finnish Liiga with his loan club Kärpät.

With 28 seconds left in the game, Clara and Kärpät's dream of a playoff appearance was shattered. Liro Pakarinen put a stop to Kärpät's season with his 2-1 winner against IFK Helsinki just before the end of the game.

Clara didn't look good when the goal was conceded with such a fateful goal. With a misplaced pass to Pakarinen, the Pustertal native, whose transfer rights are held by the NHL club Anaheim Ducks, initiated Kärpät's defeat and the resulting end to the season.
