A brief shock for Dominik Paris
Dominik Paris's 2025/26 Olympic season begins on Thursday with a Super-G in Copper Mountain. Three days prior, there was a minor incident during training.

As the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI) announced on Monday evening, Paris suffered a sprained left ankle during giant slalom training after hitting a gate. The 36-year-old will rest on Tuesday before undergoing further examination.
It is not yet clear whether Paris will be able to start in the first speed race of the winter, the Super-G in Copper Mountain, on Thursday. Here is the Azzurri squad. for the upcoming races in the USA.
