The 102-point man comes to Bruneck

Alexei Miknov is already 42 years old, but he's the lynchpin of the Lombardy side. Miknov was born in Kyiv and holds both Ukrainian and Russian citizenship. The winger also participated in the 2006 World Championship in Riga with the "Sbornaya." Michnow spent the majority of his career in the Russian KHL, where he played 526 games and scored 238 points (111 goals). Before his move to Chiavenna last summer, the giant (119 kilograms and 1,97 meters tall) played in Romania, Belarus, and France's second division.

The league's top scorer's team finished first in the West District and second in the Master Round, behind HCP Junior Selection, who won both of their head-to-head matches (1:7 and 6:5). Michnow assisted three goals in the two matches against the Pustertal team. The Lombardy team beat Cadore 2-2 in the quarterfinals and Aosta 3-2 in the semifinals.

His brother Andrej, who is one year younger, also played in Italy this season. The Ukrainian, who has competed in 12 World Championships for his home country, played for HC Fassa in the IHL and also impressed, scoring 67 points in 35 games. The 41-year-old forward has previously won the Continental Cup as well as championship titles in Ukraine, Belarus, and Poland.
