During the international break, things are usually quiet. But not at HC Bozen, who used the time off to make a coaching change. Kurt Kleinendorst had to pack his bags, and Doug Shedden's tenure has now begun.

The Canadian will be behind the Bolzano bench for the first time in Wednesday's home game against the Black Wings Linz at 7:45 p.m. The next few weeks will show whether Shedden can bring consistency to HCB Konstanz. So far, the Foxes' season has been a constant rollercoaster.

Puster Valley wants to get back on the winning track

HC Pustertal also suffered a setback recently. The Wolves had to endure three consecutive defeats before the break, something that hadn't happened before this season. "We've had plenty of time to think about it. Now we'll do everything we can to stay in contention at the top," said Matthias Mantinger defiantly.

On Wednesday, bottom-of-the-table Innsbruck will visit the Intercable Arena. Mantinger, however, warns: "Innsbruck shouldn't be underestimated; they've managed to beat some good teams this season." Both matches in Bolzano and Bruneck kick off at 7:45 p.m.
