Brixen Falcons launch transfer offensive

Last season, the Brixen Falcons missed the IHL playoffs by a mile, and things went quiet for the cathedral city team after that. But now they're making headlines again – with six contract signings in just ten days.

The Falcons signed six players in May, five of whom are new to the team. He has assured his stay, alongside coach Ken Eddy, the Ukrainian striker Bogdan StupakHe scored 30 points in 28 games last season.


Five new stars are joining the team, all from South Tyrol. Goalie Lorenzo Marinelli (24 years old/formerly Aosta), striker Mattia Covelli (20/Dobbiaco), Elias Fauster (19/HCP Junior), the long-time Eppan captain and Sterzing AlpsHL player Daniel Erlacher (35 years old) and offensive player Tobias Pisetta (24 years), who had recently been dismissed from HC MeranPisetta played for them 50 times in the Alps Hockey League last season.
