Jalonen brings 2 new players into the Blue Team
After the successful 4-nation tournament in Budapest, the Italian national ice hockey team will return to the ice in December. Coach Jukka Jalonen has now announced the squad.

Two new faces will make their debut for the Blue Team in December when Italy faces Hungary twice in Bruneck. They are Luke Moncada and Matteo Gennaro. Both are forwards and play for Asiago in the ICE Hockey League.
In fact, most of the 23 nominated players come from the ICE - a whopping 18 in fact. The remaining national players play in the Swiss NLA (3), Denmark (1) and the Alps Hockey League (1). On the other hand, some top players, such as Peter Spornberger (HC Bozen) or Andy Bernard and Alex Petan (HC Pustertal), are not there this time.
