Two more new additions to Italy's squad

A few days before the start of the first training camp of the season, which begins on Monday in Bolzano, the technical staff of the Italian national team has updated the list of those called up for the European Cup of Nations.

Three changes were made compared to the original list: Davide Fadani, Pascal Brunner and Giovanni Morini are replaced by Rudy Rigoni, Cristiano DiGiacinto and Marco Zanetti replaces him. This doubles the number of potential debutants from two to four: In addition to the already nominated Bradley and Ramoser Goalkeeper Rudy Rigoni (Asiago) and striker Cristiano DiGiacinto (Bozen) could now also wear the national team jersey for the first time.

Rigoni replaces Fadani, who is under contract with Kloten and recently suffered a minor injury. DiGiacinto replaces his teammate Pascal Brunner and wants to use the opportunity to recommend himself to the extended squad of the "Azzurri" with an eye toward the Olympic Games and World Championship.
