The NHL champion is out!

Defending champion Vegas Golden Knights have to bury their hopes of winning the Stanley Cup again in the North American professional ice hockey league NHL after the first playoff round.

The seventh and all-important game in Texas went to the “Stars” 2-1. Radek Faksa scored the winning goal after 44 seconds in the third period.

Dallas goalkeeper Jake Oettinger shone with 22 saves and was one of the fathers of the success. In the quarterfinals there will now be a big hit between Dallas and the Colorado Avalanche.

Meanwhile, the New York Rangers celebrated their fifth win in the fifth play-off game in 2024. Thanks to Mika Zibanejad (two goals, one assist), they achieved a 4-3 win in the first quarterfinal game against Carolina.
