McDavid scores for the first time: Things are going well for the Oilers

The Edmonton Oilers have got back on track in the NHL and have picked up their second win of the season.

The traditional club from Alberta won 4:2 against the Nashville Predators last night (CEST). Connor McDavid scored his long-awaited first goal of the season for the Oilers, who had lost all of their first three games by a wide margin. The Canadians ended this series with a 4:3 win after overtime against the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday. The Oilers narrowly missed out on the title last season, losing in the Stanley Cup finals.
