Victory against Dallas: Oilers have overcome crisis

The Edmonton Oilers have won their third game in the last four games in the NHL and seem to have overcome their slump.

Despite a 5-1 lead, the team had to tremble until the end against the Dallas Stars. Three goals from the visitors in the final third made the game exciting, and in the end the Oilers won 5-4.

German Nico Sturm got off to a good start with his new team. The Florida Panthers won 4-0 against the Buffalo Sabres and Sturm enjoyed the feeling. "I haven't won many games in the past few years," said Sturm. His role as a specialist in shorthanded situations was not of great value with the San José Sharks, as the team often conceded a lot of goals. It's different with the champions. "Even if I don't appear on the scoresheet, we defended shorthanded situations, there was an important block, the team won. That's our reward. That feels good."
