Field service | The South Tyrolean derby specialists

There are normal football games and derbies. The latter always have a very special explosiveness and it is not for nothing that there is the phrase that separate rules apply in a derby. Last weekend, several South Tyrolean professionals were successful in derbies.

For example, the Sardinian derby against Torres was on the program in Olbia. The home team had to admit defeat 0-3. Much to the delight of Manuel Fischnler, who not only was on the pitch for Torres for 90 minutes, but was also able to celebrate the derby victory.

A real local derby was held in Chiavari. The Ligurian clubs Virtus Entella and Sestri Levante are just a stone's throw apart. The duel attracted around 4000 spectators and went 1-0 to the promoted team from Sestri Levante. A disgrace for the heavily favored Entella, who then immediately fired coach Gennaro Volpe. The Merano Elion Toci came on as a substitute at Sestri Levante in the 68th minute.

Straudi loses at home with Austria Klagenfurt

In Austria, the top duel between Austria Klagenfurt and Linzer ASK was on the agenda. The Upper Austrians clearly won 3-1. Simon Straud was in the starting line-up - as always in the current season - but had to come off at halftime. However, it was not used Max Reinthaler in the 1:2 defeat of Wehen Wiesbaden in Paderborn (2nd Bundesliga, Germany). On Monday evening are Jonas Heinz and Manuel DeLuca required. The former meets Messina in the Serie C South Summit with Taranto (20.45 p.m.). Pfattner De Luca welcomes Sampdoria Cittadella (20.30 p.m.).

Other South Tyroleans were active in Serie C at the weekend. Emanuele Zuelli and Simone Zanon won with Carrarese against Vis Pesaro (1-0). Both were in the starting line-up. The same applies to Federico Davi, who played through Arzignano's 1-1 draw against Pro Patria. David Wieser came on as a substitute after 2 minutes at Mantova (0-68 against Pro Sesto). However, it was not used Lorenzo Sgarbi, who languished on the bench for the entire game in Avellino's 0-0 draw against Foggia.
