Eva Schatzer is Italy's Golden Girl

A great honor for Eva Schatzer. The Vahrn native, who has played for Juventus for years, has received the Golden Girl Italia 2025 award.

Schatzer received the award for the best performance by a young player in Serie A. The South Tyrolean is one of Juventus' key players and a regular member of the Italian national team. Schatzer was also nominated for the Golden Girl Award in Europe, where she made it to the final round of the ten best young players.

Schatzer has played for Juventus since 2020. Initially in the youth academy, she made the jump to the first team in 2023. After a loan spell at Sampdoria, Schatzer returned to the Bianconere and subsequently won a Scudetto. Schatzer has also scored in the Champions League, including a magnificent free kick against Bayern Munich in November.
