FCS Women turn up the heat in the second half

The FCS Women also successfully completed their first away game of this young season in Serie C.

After a weekend without a game, Mr. Ruggero Santuari's team won 4-0 at Jesina Aurora. The White-Reds were already superior in the first half, but no goals were scored on a difficult pitch. Shortly after half-time, they took the lead: Markart won a penalty for the visitors, and Pföstl converted the penalty to make it 1-0 (52'). Barely a quarter of an hour later, the FCS ladies increased their lead to 2-0 - Prearo with a precise cross to Pföstl, who pushed the ball over the line at the height of the first post (65').

In the 72nd minute, the White-Reds finally put the lid on it: in a spectacular move, Ruaben found Markart, who in turn set up Fischer - the latter outmaneuvered Jesina keeper Jabon and scored to make it 3-0. In the final phase, the guests scored their fourth goal, Huber was able to convert a precise pass from Stockner diagonally to make it 4-0 (86th minute). Next Sunday, the FCS Women returned to the FCS Center to host Chieti Femminile.
