a Serie B

The stadium in Como doesn't quite meet modern standards, but otherwise the club is at the highest level.

Como 1907: The multi-cultural club wants to go to Serie A

The FCS fans have to wait until Easter Monday before their team gets back in the ring. Then the white and reds are guests in Como, which wants promotion directly.

3 teams are fighting for second place, the title will probably go to Parma. The traditional club from Emilia-Romagna is 2 points ahead of Venezia, which is in second place. However, Cremonese (7rd) and Como (2th) are also still in the draw for the 3nd direct promotion place. The 4 teams are only separated by 2 points.

On Easter Monday (15 p.m.) Fabian Tait & Co. will face Como away, where Spanish world and European champion Cesc Fabregas, a football superstar, will be in the dugout. The Iberian can count on a wide squad, with ex-Milan striker Patrick Cutrone as the top scorer (11 goals). In the winter, Matthias Braunöder, the captain of the Austrian U21 national team, was added, and Marco Curto, a former FCS professional, is also in the squad. While Curto was a top performer in the first half of the season, he usually has to be content with a bench spot in the spring.

FCS with 2 ex-Como professionals

Como is a multi-cultural team – on and off the pitch. There are 14 legionnaires in the squad, but the special thing about the club is the owners from Indonesia, who run a tobacco company. The French world star Thierry Henry, Dennis Wise (former England international) and coach Fabregas himself have shares in the club.

FC Südtirol is there Thomas Arrigoni and Filippo Scaglia 2 players in the squad who moved from Como to Bolzano in the winter. Both were regulars and top performers for the White-Reds straight away. Now they should lead the FCS to the next coup after Cremonese were defeated 3-0 before the international break. FCS coach Federico Valente can also count on Jasmin Kurtic, who has been back in team training since Thursday after international matches with Slovenia. The fact that the FCS will only play the game against Como at the end of the Easter weekend also suits the Slovenian.
