The great pride of a player's father

He was an exceptional footballer himself—at the amateur level, of course—and, as an attacking, highly unpredictable winger, he tore through every opposing defense, first at Leifers and then at St. Pauls in the regional and upper leagues. Bygone days. Now, Alessandro Davi (51) has a regular seat in the stands. As the father of FC Südtirol players Simone (26) and Federico Davi (23), football still plays a major role.
