Against relegation: FCS draws hope
FC Südtirol faces its most important home game of the season so far on Saturday (15 p.m.) against Carrarese Calcio. Coach Fabrizio Castori spoke at length about some of his players beforehand.

“We absolutely need a win,” Castori declared at the final press conference in Rungg on Friday. After only three points from their last six games, FCS has slipped into the relegation zone. “We had a good start to the season. Then our long list of injuries slowed us down,” Castori said.
Opponents Carrarese currently have three points and two South Tyrolean regulars, Emanuele Zuelli and Simone Zanon, in their squad. "They have a very well-established team," explained Castori.
