Grades: The FCS has two problem children

Poluzzi 6 After his strong performance in Mantua, he was given another chance and was preferred over Marius Adamonis. He had no chance when the goal was conceded, and otherwise was never really tested.

El Kaouakibi 5,5 He hadn't played since the Pescara match on October 1st, when he was forced off injured. He was allowed to start, but his form isn't at its best yet, he's still behind, and he had to come off after 45 minutes.

Bordon 4,5 The biggest weakness in FCS's defense. The Brazilian had been so strong during preseason. But as soon as things got serious, he put in one shaky performance after another. He looked absolutely terrible when the goal was conceded. Substituted after 55 minutes, he left the pitch with his head down. He knew himself that his performance was clearly negative.

Kofler 6 The only defender at FC Südtirol who has played the entire game in the back three and is currently in acceptable form. All other defenders are either unable to play the full 90 minutes, are injured, unfit, or in poor form.

Molina 6,5 FCS's best player on the pitch – he exerted considerable pressure on the right wing. His crosses repeatedly posed threats. He certainly deserved the defeat against Cesena the least.

Martinis 5 Because Fabian Tait is still behind in training and Mamadou Coulibaly is looking for form, the 20-year-old was allowed to play in the right-back position. He was completely unobtrusive and was taken off at halftime.

Tronchin 6 The best of the three midfielders. He worked hard and fought hard in the center, but it wasn't enough to earn a point. His performances are almost always good. He's long been a key player for FC Südtirol.

Casiraghi 5,5 He struggled against Cesena's well-prepared lineup. He was in the starting eleven for the first time since August 31st (3-1 loss against Sampdoria) after a muscle injury sidelined him. Clearly, he's not his old self yet. A few strokes of genius here and there (like the free kick he won in the finish), but ultimately not enough.

Daniele Casiraghi is currently struggling.

Simone Davi 6 He faced former teammate Riccardo Ciervo on his side and did a commanding job defensively. However, with a few exceptions at the beginning of the game, Leiferer offered little in the way of attacking play.

Odogwu 5,5 He was in the starting eleven for only his third time this season. He got off to a good start, but then declined significantly as the game progressed, partly due to a lack of any support from midfield. When he claimed the ball, there were no takers.

Merkai 6 The first half hour was forgettable, then the Albanian suddenly woke up and caused serious problems for Klinsmann and his team. With a brilliant save, the son of the German striker icon prevented the equalizer. The attacker's header flew just wide.

Coulibaly 4,5 He came on at halftime and clearly showed a lack of training. He acted clumsily and ponderously. He attempted shots from distance, but his efforts flew wide of the Cesena goal. The top midfield signing from the summer – a complete failure on Saturday, and not for the first time.

Federico Davi 5,5 He replaced El Kaouakibi at halftime and got off to a good start. He played first on the right, then on the left, and finally on the right again. He was too hectic during the most pressing phase and made a few mistakes.

Masiello 6,5 He came on for Bordon after 55 minutes and gave the entire defense a sense of security. He played confidently and effectively. He was everywhere: at the back and in the opposition's penalty area. He set up two chances in the finish.

Zedadka 6 He replaced Simone Davi and had an immediate chance. His shot was blocked.

Italeng without note His spectacular overhead kick flew over the goal.

Castori 5,5 The starting eleven wasn't a lucky choice, given the double substitution at halftime. Pecorino remained on the bench.
