Within the league: Unlucky Drago leaves FCS

FC Südtirol parted ways with Giacomo Drago on Thursday. The White-Reds' reserve goalkeeper will remain in Serie B, however.

From FC Südtirol to Cremonese – that can certainly be seen as a transfer success for Drago. The fourth-placed club announced on Thursday that they had signed Drago on loan. Previously, reserve goalkeeper Andreas Jungdahl had left the club. Drago will share the position of reserve goalkeeper with Gianluca Saro in Cremona, where Giovanni Stroppa is head coach.

At FCS, Drago was recently demoted from number 2 to number 4. As a substitute for Giacomo Poluzzi, the 23-year-old cut a more than unfortunate figure in the autumn. Drago looked very bad several times when conceding goals, which is why FCS signed two new goalkeepers, Eugenio Lamanna and Marius Adamonis.

Only on Wednesday, the White-Reds sold another goalkeeper, Daniel Theiner from Merano (to Carpi).
