What do Giacomo Poluzzi, Daniele Casiraghi, Fabian Tait and Andrea Masiello have in common? They are all over 30 years old and they are the big winners at FC Südtirol. All FCS kickers in the individual review.

Giorgini 6 Stable performance from the central defender, who was in the starting line-up for the first time in 2024. A few bad passes, but overall okay.

Scaglia 6,5 The veteran is hard to beat in the air. Twice with luck when Ascoli claimed a hand penalty - but the VAR did not intervene in each case. Aside from these wobbly moments, Scaglia performed well.

Masiello 8 A tremendous achievement from the 38-year-old, who ultimately had to pay tribute to his workload. Defensively the usual giant and up front with the winning goal. However, not - as one might assume - according to a standard, but from the game. His irresistible start was reminiscent of an offensive artist and not of an experienced defensive warrior.

El Kaouakibi 6,5 Decent comeback in the white and red jersey. The yellow card after a few minutes hindered the physically outstanding Italo-Moroccan a little in the duels.

Arrigoni 5,5 His mistake in the build-up game had a devastating effect. Ascoli scored the next goal, after which the game threatened to collapse. Good thing for the winter newcomer that that wasn't the case. So you have to speak of a loss of the ball (which shouldn't happen to such an experienced midfielder), but it went smoothly.

Tait 7:XNUMX His form is currently not the best. This was also visible in Ascoli Piceno – especially in the first half. The gate gave him security. The Salurner deserves it, because hardly anyone works harder for success than Tait.

Casiraghi 7,5 Without Casiraghi, the FCS is only worth half, the 30-year-old is simply irreplaceable. That became obvious yesterday. He was well guarded by Ascoli, but was still instrumental in both goals. When he scored the 1-0 lead, he splendidly passed through to the provider Davi and prepared the winning goal straight away.

Daniele Casiraghi was again the linchpin in the FCS game.

David 7 Back in the starting line-up, the man from Leifer immediately showed his value for the team. Hard to overcome in defensive 1-on-1. Offensively, the left-back repeatedly provided pinpricks - plus the assist on Tait's goal. Strong homegrown performance.

Odogwu 6 Returned to the starting line-up after a long injury break, but had to leave again after an hour with pain in his thigh. Until then, Odogwu had not been noticeable, but it was a very difficult game for the FCS strikers.

Merkai 6 The Albanian – like his neighbor Odogwu – did not pose any threat to score. But he worked diligently in the game against the ball.

Rauti 6 Came into the game for Merkaj and was busy as usual. His best move – a shot onto the crossbar – would not have counted. The game was over.

Pecorino 6,5 Was celebrated after a rescue operation in his own penalty area as if he had scored the winning goal. The striker was more noticeable at the back than at the front. But it was always important.

Kofler 6,5 Came on for Giorgini to provide more toughness in tackles and header strength. The 18-year-old did this job solidly.

Cagnano without a note Was used for the first time this season as a half-left central defender in the back three. When Masiello had to go out injured, Cagnano took over that part and did a good job for the few remaining minutes.

At the back, Giorgini replaced Kofler, who had recently been a bit unsure. Both decisions were correct.
