Lana returns to the national league, Riffian is also promoted

After three years, Lana returns to the national league. The Etschtaler team beat Frangart 5-1 in Eppan/Rungg on Wednesday evening. The White-Reds didn't let themselves be disturbed by the early deficit after Greif's own goal (4th). With quick counter-attacks, they repeatedly undermined the home team's defense. After a nice through ball, Hofer had no trouble beating Auer with a diagonal shot (15th). Nicoletti turned things around in the 38th minute before Greif made up for his mistake and headed the ball into the net after a free kick (44'). After the break, Hofer increased the score to 4:1, while Stefan Hafner symbolically scored the final point. The remarkable goal to make it 5-1 was not only the final score, it was also Hafner's last goal in Lana's dress. He ended his long career after the final whistle.

Lana's place in the 1st amateur league will be taken by Riffian Kuens next season. Thanks to a goal from Emanuele Pircher in the 14th minute, Riffian Kuens beat ASV St. Lorenzen in the Drusus Stadium in Bozen. In the meaningless game for third place in the 2nd amateur league, Haslach had the upper hand against Pfalzen 4-0. Gramm and Bianchi each scored twice.

The game for third place in the 3rd amateur league between US La Val and Ritten ended with a 1-0 win for the high plateau club, which Sini secured in the 12th minute. After these last playoffs, it's finally the summer break. Now the headlines belong exclusively to the transfer process.

The final battles in the various amateur leagues have been fought. Thanks to a 5-1 win against Frangart, Lana secured a ticket for the regional league, while Riffian will take its place in the 1st amateur league next season.
