Landesliga: Plose cannot stop the leaders

The Eisacktalers, who toppled St. Paul's throne a week ago, were denied another surprise coup. At the end of an eventful game they lost to Partschins 2:3. Michael Tscholl and Dominik Schnitzer put the guests in front twice, but Max Oberhauser and Matthias Stockner always had the right answer ready. Only when Schnitzer netted for the second time in the final phase was Plose's resistance broken.

Partschins not only fended off Plose's attack on the top of the table, but also kept their pursuers Lana and St. Pauls at bay. The Burggräfler made short work of newly promoted Neumarkt (3-0), while the Überetscher defeated Vahrn with two late goals (2-0).

In the middle of the table, Stegen set clear exclamation marks with a 2:1 against Freienfeld and Voran Leifers with a clear 4:1 against the winless bottom team Moos. Latzfons, Salurn, Natz, Bruneck, Passeier and Schlern, however, scored one point.
