State league season 2012-13: This is SSV Weinstraße Süd

The SSV Weinstraße Süd syndicate was founded in 2000 from the clubs SV Kurtatsch, SV Margreid and SV Kurtinig and was promoted to the state league for the first time in the 2007/2008 season. The first adventure in the highest amateur league in South Tyrol was, however, only short-lived and the Unterlanders returned to the first amateur league in the following season. Weinstraße Süd was promoted back to the regional league in the 1/2009 season, where the club has been playing ever since.

Not much has happened on the transfer market at Weinstraße Süd, as you shouldn't tear a successful team apart. Last year, coach Fabio Ianeselli's boys finished third in the final table, level on points with St. Pauls, and the team is very likely to have a top 5 placement in their sights next season.

Additions In addition to the youth players Allen Zwerger and Florian Dibiasi, the only new addition was defender Lorenzo Buffa, who was previously on the field with Neumarkt.

departures

The departures from the team from the Unterland were also minimal: while Joachim Paoli moved to the leisure team, Andrea Salvini moved to Frangart.

Start of training and previous results

In mid-July, SSV Weinstraße Süd resumed its preparation for the season and the club has been convincing so far in the Italian Cup of the upper and regional leagues: in the first phase it beat Salurn (3-2 win) and Virtus Don Bosco (2-1 - Victory) and in the second round we had the upper hand against Neugries 2-1 away in Bolzano. This means that Sanoll & Co. are the only national league team in the next round. In the championship so far, the Unterlandlers have two wins against Pichl Gsies and Latzfons Verdings, a draw against Stegen and three defeats against Natz, Virtus Don Bosco and Sarntal.
