Black weekend for South Tyrolean football
After FC Südtirol failed to get past a 2:2 draw in their home match against Mantova, none of the other South Tyrolean professionals were able to win their games over the weekend. Instead, they suffered some heavy defeats.

For example, they lost 0-4 Max Reinthaler with 1860 Munich against SC Verl. The Lions are well ahead of Verl in the table in Germany's 3rd division. However, there was no sign of this at the weekend and the Algund player (90 minutes as central defender) could not change that.
There was also nothing to gain for Austria Klagenfurt, where Simon Straud is under contract. However, the Pusterer was not present at the 0:3 defeat against Salzburg.
Serie B: Zanon steals a point from Bisoli
At Pierpaolo Bisoli’s coaching debut with Brescia, Simone Zanon an opponent of the former FCS coach. Carrarese, with the right-back from Sinich in the starting eleven, snatched a point from Bresica in a 0-0 draw.
