The Delago sisters feel at home in Tarvisio

One day before the start of the World Cup races in Tarvisio/Tarvisio, the signs are mounting that the Delago sisters are a force to be reckoned with. Nicol Delago was the fastest on Friday.

Good training performances aren't always a guarantee of a successful race. However, they do provide a good feeling and boost confidence, especially when consistent performances are consistently good. This is the case for the Delago sisters, Nicol and Nadia, in Tarvisio.

Nadia Delago has already shown on Thursday with the fourth fastest practice time On Friday, the younger of the two sisters from Wolkenstein repeated this result, demonstrating that she is a force to be reckoned with in Saturday's downhill race (10:45 a.m.). The same applies to Nicol Delago, who was the fastest on Friday.

Behind Nicol Delago came Nina Ortlieb (+0,04 seconds), who had the fastest time in Thursday's training. Slovenian Ilka Stuhec, for whom the race in Friuli is almost like a home race, posted the third fastest time.

The results of the other Azzurre: Laura Pirovano (9th), Elena Curtoni (16th), Sofia Goggia (17th), Roberta Melesi (35th), Sara Thaler (46th), Sara Allemand (48th).
