Now it’s finally over: Nadia Delago has to take a break

On Sunday, Nadia Delago suffered a serious fall during the Super-G in Beaver Creek. The Val Gardena native must now take a break.

Nadia Delago was lucky that her serious fall had no major consequences. Nevertheless, the 27-year-old does not yet feel ready for the Super-G double this weekend in St. Moritz. "I was very lucky and am very happy that I am well. Now I am taking a few days off to recover from it," wrote the younger of the two Delago sisters on Instagram.

According to the Italian winter sports association FISI, Delago will return to the World Cup on January 11th and 12th in St. Anton. Marta Bassino, Vicky Bernardi, Federica Brignone, Elena Curtoni, Nicol Delago, Sofia Goggia, Roberta Melesi, Laura Pirovano, Sara Thaler and Asja Zenere have been nominated for the stage in St. Moritz. From an international perspective, a lot of attention is being paid to the comeback of Lindsey Vonn.
