In the speed disciplines, the star downhill skier had to struggle from day one with the slope, which was not at all suited to her. Then she fell badly in the dress rehearsal for the downhill, which left the Italian very unsettled. In the end, there was no medal for Goggia, not even in the giant slalom, where she fell in the first run.
