Simon Harasser is the son of Reinhold Harrasser, a former professional goalkeeper himself who now coaches FCS's junior goalkeepers. The now 19-year-old from Barbian moved from FC Südtirol to Serie C club Sorrento this summer. Harrasser had only made one appearance in the cup for the club near Naples before finally making his professional debut on Saturday evening.
Harrasser, normally a substitute goalkeeper, played the full 1 minutes of Sorrento's 2-90 defeat to Avellino. He couldn't do much to stop the two goals conceded. His debut was therefore special, because opponents Avellino secured promotion to Serie B with a narrow victory. Harrasser and Sorrento are in the lower midfield of Serie C.
Lukas Sinn relegated to Serie D
Otherwise, of the South Tyrolean professional footballers who earn their money in Italy, only Luke Sinn on the pitch at the weekend. The left-back from Caldaro played from the start in Union Clodiense's 1-2 defeat at Padova.Lukas Sinn moved within Serie C.
Sinn and the Veneto club will be relegated back to Serie D. This has been confirmed for a week now. What will happen next with the 22-year-old remains to be seen. Sinn made 35 appearances in his first professional season at Chioggia.Otherwise, in Austria there was still Simon Straud in action. The Pusterer is also with Austria Klagenfurt facing an uncertain future. In the 0-0 draw against Grazer AK, Straudi played until the 76th minute.
