Riffian Kuens changes coach

Riffian Kuens, relegated from the Landesliga, are still struggling to find their footing one league lower. The club from the Burgraviate therefore parted ways with coach Alex Sincich during the winter break. His successor will be a well-known name in South Tyrolean amateur football.

Gustav Grünfelder is the new coach of SV Riffian Kuens. The club, located at the entrance to the Passeier Valley, sits in the bottom third of the First Amateur League with 15 points. However, because Passeier (4 points) and Tscherms (5 points) have only managed to collect very few points, the threat of relegation is somewhat less of a concern.

Riffian Kuens' expectations were different, however – primarily because there was no major overhaul after relegation. Sincich, who had only been in charge for a year, had to leave. Grünfelder is familiar with the environment in Riffian, having previously coached the club. Furthermore, the Naturns native has also coached his hometown club and Partschins, among others.
