St. Georgen parts ways with its coach
It was a first half of the season to forget for traditional club St. Georgen. Now, the Oberliga team is undergoing a significant change.

St. Georgen and their coach Giacomo Favero will part ways. The club from the Puster Valley announced this on their social media channels on Sunday. St. Georgen's decision comes after a disastrous first half of the season, in which they only managed 15 points and are just one point above the relegation zone.
“We simply had to react and do something. Now we hope that the effect will be positive,” says sporting director Georg Brugger, who is now looking for a successor.
Favero came to St. Georgen as a player, then ended his career and immediately moved into coaching. However, after only half a year as head coach of Jergina, his time is up.
