Bruneck and Naturns are the dominant teams in the Landesliga so far. The rescheduled match between these two top clubs takes place on Wednesday. Natz and Freienfeld are in action on Tuesday.

The big match between the two best clubs in the regional league was supposed to take place in Naturns on Sunday. However, it didn't happen: because the pitch in the lower Vinschgau valley was frozen solid, the match couldn't be played. A new attempt will be made on Wednesday at 20 p.m. – this time on an artificial turf pitch.

The regional league blockbuster will take place in Merano (at the Confluenza sports ground), which is actually the home ground of league rival Olimpia Merano. From a sporting perspective, the encounter couldn't be more crucial: Bruneck leads the standings with 36 points, while Naturns sits in second place with 31. A Naturns victory would completely reopen the title race, while a Bruneck win would see the Puster Valley team take a giant step towards promotion to the Oberliga (fifth tier).

Natz and Freienfeld already on Tuesday

The match between Natz and Freienfeld also could not be played on Sunday. This match will now take place on Tuesday evening (20 p.m.) at the Brixen youth center.
