The sports field in the heart of Aurer Forchwold is once again becoming the epitome of football, culinary delights, summer vibes, and partying. The Forchwold Summer Cup is entering its next round – this time, spread over two days, but with even more energy, variety, and atmosphere.

The traditional Aurer village tournament kicks off on Thursday. Young and old, amateur and club players, meet here – in teams that are just as diverse as the supporting program.

Away from the lawn, visitors can expect sweet highlights such as popcorn and cotton candy as well as hearty grilled specialties.

Starting places are in high demand

Anders als bei der dritten Auflage im Vorjahr wird heuer am Freitag bewusst eine Pause eingelegt – Zeit zum Durchatmen, Kräfte sammeln und Vorfreude genießen. Denn was am Samstag kommt, hat es in sich. Dann steht der große, besser gesagt der bisher größte, Turniertag an. Auf gleich drei Spielfeldern wird gekickt – und zwar nicht nur beim beliebten Open-Turnier, sondern auch beim Ladies-Turnier, das erneut alle fußballbegeisterten Frauen und Mädels auf den Platz bringt.

Die Startplätze waren auch in diesem Jahr schnell vergeben, was einmal mehr zeigt, wie groß die Vorfreude auf das Event ist. Und weil ein echtes Sommerturnier nicht ohne gebührenden Abschluss auskommt, wird nach dem Turnierende im klassischen Forchwold-Stil gemeinsam weitergefeiert.
