In Auer the highly coveted Forchwald Trophy will be played for.

Forchwald Summercup: The Unterlandler Football Festival

The sports field in the heart of Aurer Forchwold is once again becoming the epitome of football, culinary delights, summer vibes, and partying. The Forchwold Summer Cup is entering its next round – this time, spread over two days, but with even more energy, variety, and atmosphere.

The traditional Aurer village tournament kicks off on Thursday. Young and old, amateur and club players, meet here – in teams that are just as diverse as the supporting program.

Away from the lawn, visitors can expect sweet highlights such as popcorn and cotton candy as well as hearty grilled specialties.

Starting places are in high demand

Unlike the third edition last year, this year there will be a deliberate break on Friday – time to breathe, gather strength, and enjoy the anticipation. Because what's coming up on Saturday is going to be quite something.
Then it's the big day, or rather the biggest day yet, of the tournament. There will be action on three pitches – not just the popular Open tournament, but also the Ladies' Tournament, which will once again bring all the football-loving women and girls onto the pitch.

Recreational footballers, club players and many spectators meet at the Aurer artificial turf pitch.

The starting places were quickly filled this year, which once again demonstrates how much anticipation there is for the event. And because a true summer tournament cannot do without a fitting conclusion, the celebration continues after the tournament in classic Forchwold style.

Football fans in the lowlands can expect two days of high activity on and off the artificial grass in the south of Auer.
