What do Gargazon, Naz, Tscherms, and Taisten Monguelfo Prags have in common? That's right: They all celebrated their championship title last weekend. While Gargazon (champions of the A-District) and Naz (B-District) can celebrate promotion to the regional league, Tscherms and Taisten Monguelfo Prags made the jump to the first amateur league.

On Saturday there was a premiere: As part of the playoffs for the regional championship titles of the youth teams in Mühlwald and Sand in Taufers, the two champions of the 1st and the two champions of the 2nd amateur league met in a direct duel - and played for the "overall championship title".

There are no losers

In summery temperatures and a lively mood, Gargazon in Sand in Taufers (1-0 against Natz) and Tscherms in Mühlwald (3-2 against Taisten Welsberg Prags) each prevailed, crowning their already successful season with the icing on the cake. On Saturday, however, the losing teams also had reason to celebrate: after all, they still moved up a league.

Tscherms was crowned champion of the A-district of the 2nd amateur league.

All four teams – like all other clubs – have already begun planning for the upcoming season. It remains to be seen how they will fare in the new league. Incidentally, the overall champion of the 3rd Amateur League will be decided tomorrow, Sunday, with Mölten/Vöran, Sarntal, and the Jergina Amateurs competing in a three-team competition.
