Promotion playoff: Virtus Bozen still has Serie D hopes

While most South Tyrolean amateur teams still have one matchday to play, the Oberliga is already on summer break. With one exception: Virtus Bozen.

Oberliga runner-up Virtus Bozen still has a chance to return to Serie D. Starting Sunday, the regional capital team will play in the playoffs, at the end of which one team will receive a ticket to the fourth division.

Virtus Bozen kicks off the season against Pinerolo, a team from Piedmont. The South Tyroleans first play away before Pinerolo visits the Talferwiesen the following Sunday (June 1). Kick-off in both matches is at 16:XNUMX PM.

Should Virtus Bolzano overcome the hurdle, the playoff final awaits. Their opponents there would be either Sestese (Tuscany) or Cannara (Umbria), who will face off in the second semifinal. The final will take place on June 8 and 15.
