Levico entered the new top league season with great ambitions. But so far, everything has gone wrong for the former Serie D club. Three games, three losses, last place in the table – those are the hard facts. Now the club from the spa town has reacted and parted ways with coach Alessandro Agostini.

Under Agostini, Levico had finished fourth in each of the last two Oberliga seasons, but now the coach's nightmare start proved to be his downfall. Levico immediately announced a successor – and it's no ordinary person. Stefano Manfioletti is taking over the reins at the ambitious club.

A true cult coach

Manfioletti is considered one of the best coaches in Trentino and has guided numerous clubs to Serie D in the past. "Manfio" was also on the sidelines at Levico, namely in the 2017/18 season. Back then, he helped the Trentino club avoid relegation from Serie D. On Sunday, Levico will face Mori in a home game.
