2nd Amateur League: From hat-tricks and much more

In the 2nd Amateur League, Taisten Welsberg Prags remains the benchmark. With their seventh consecutive win, this time in the top match against Steinhaus, the league leaders consolidated their pole position in Group B. In Group A, Schlanders surprised with a narrow away win, while Tobias Gufler became a three-times goalscorer for Plaus, almost single-handedly defeating Jenesien.

A curious own goal, two converted penalties, and a hat trick under pressure: The most recent matchday in the 2nd Amateur League was a tough one. The role played by late sendings off and shots hitting the woodwork, and why the final minutes in some matches decided victory or loss of a point, were discussed. Exciting developments in the promotion battle in both groups – with a league leader who seems almost unstoppable.
