On matchday 11 of the Oberliga, two struggling South Tyrolean teams celebrated important home victories. Furthermore, FC Bolzano once again demonstrated their strength.

Bolzano FC They remain the surprise team of this Oberliga season. The Oranges won the top match against on Sunday. Tram Thanks to a goal from the technically gifted Gabriel Tessaro, they won 1-0 and now sit in second place, just two points behind league leaders Rovereto. For the past two seasons, FC Bolzano had battled relegation. Experienced players left the club in the summer, but new coach Hugo Pomella has turned adversity into opportunity.
Virtus Bolzano has, on the other hand, lost ground and is currently in the lead after the 1:1 draw. Brixens now behind their city rivals. Michael Cia had even put the Cologne team in the lead. But in the end, it wasn't enough for the bottom-of-the-table team to secure a victory. They missed out on a crucial three points. Partschins They've secured a victory. Led by long-time stalwarts Olaf Stark and Daniel Lanthaler, the Untervinschgau team... Val Gardena They won 2:1 and simultaneously overtook the Ladins in the table.

St. George Ahrntal has gained some breathing room with a 3-2 victory. The newly promoted team celebrated a resounding 5-1 win at home against Union Trento after trailing 0-1.
