Tobias Pföstl is leaving FC Obermais.

Two bad news for FC Obermais

The South Tyrolean amateur leagues are currently on winter break and are enjoying the pre-Christmas atmosphere. However, this was interrupted in Obermais by two pieces of bad news.

FC Obermais said goodbye to the winter break in grand style. First the Burgraves triumphed in South Tyrol Oberliga Cup final against St. Pauls (3:0), then Flavio Toccoli's team grabbed it regional title in the Italian Cup of the Oberliga (1-0 against Levico). Things are anything but bad for Obermais in the league too. The blue-whites are only three points behind leader Lavis in sixth place. However, the people of Meran now received two pieces of bad news.

Tobias Pföstl, one of the discoveries of the current season, will leave the club again. The 24-year-old will be moving back to his previous team Schenna for work reasons. Bitter for Obermais, as Pföstl, for example, scored two goals in the final of the Oberliga Cup, scored two goals against arch-rivals Naturns in the league and had become an important part of the team since his move in the summer.

In addition to this sudden change, the Burggräfler team will also have to do without Moritz Tschöll in the second half of the season. The midfielder tore his cruciate ligament and will not be available to his team for the rest of the season.
