Oberliga hit: Lavis turns off the champion sparkling wine in Tramin

Was this Lavis's masterpiece? The top league leaders from Trentino celebrated a big win in the top game against Tramin on Sunday. There was also a lot going on in the highest regional league.

It was a groundbreaking duel that took place on Sunday at the Tramin sports field. Here the home team, who are in third place in the table, there the leader from Lavis, who wants to get into Serie D. After Philipp Rabensteiner lost the ball, the Trentino team played an exemplary counterattack, which the shooter scored his 13th goal of the season (66th).

Although Simon Dissertori then had to go down with a second yellow card, the Unterlanders didn't give up and got back to 1-2 thanks to a wonderful Simon Greif free kick (75'). But then offensive artist Alex Pfitscher had to leave the field injured - and the defeat was sealed. Tramin, which was still leading the table a few weeks ago, has slipped to 5th place.

St. Georgen and Bozner FC with big wins

Next to Lavis are St. George and the Bolzano FC the winners of the round. The Jergina clearly won the city derby at home against Stegen 3-0, with Alexander Kore, Philipp Schwingshackl and Simon Harrasser scoring the goals. While St. Georgen claims third place, Stegen's worries are getting bigger and bigger. Manuel Sullmann's team is in a relegation zone.

The Bolzano FC meanwhile gave a strong exclamation mark and Obermais beaten 4:1. Although the Talferstädter fell behind early on, they turned the match around thanks to an outstanding Gabriel Tessaro, who shone as a double goalscorer. Bozner FC is gasping for air in the relegation battle, while FC Obermais seems to be increasingly running out of air. In the second half of the season, the Merano team only managed a measly two wins.

Naturno (0-0 against Levico) and St Pauls (0-0 against Rovereto) each got one point, while the team that had already been relegated Wool suffered a defeat against Comano. Just like Partschins, which lost 0-1 to Anaune.
