Trento presents its new coach

AC Trento has presented its coach for the new season. The signature of sporting director Luca Piazzi is clearly evident.

Even at FC Südtirol, Luca Piazzi was known for giving newcomers a chance. His first coach at AC Trento falls into exactly this category. Luca Tabbiani is not a well-known name, like former Trento coach Bruno Tedino, for example.

The recent success story does not speak in favor of the 45-year-old from Genoa, who suffered relegation to Serie D with Fiorenzuola a few weeks ago (in a play-off against Novara). Nevertheless, Piazzi is giving him the chance to prove himself again in Serie C in Trento. Tabbiani had already spent a year in the Trentino capital as a player, and is now returning as a coach: "This place has always remained in my heart. I am very happy about the opportunity to train at this club," said Tabbiani in a club statement.
